Jeep stuck on East End Road

During the early homestead days everyone worked together to make East End Road passable. Here you observe Walt Dufour’s Jeep pickup being pulled through bad spots at Mile 14 East End Road.

Wagon made for a slow trip

It always took us a full day to go to Homer and back. When we had problems such as this it would take two or three days to make the 15 mile trip and we would stay with friends and neighbors such as Loyd and Edna Morris on the way.
