As many of you know, there was more than one blustery day for Homer over the
holidays. Those of you fortunate enough to get out on the Baycrest trail system
anytime close to the new year also witnessed the jungle those winds made of the
trails. Dave Brann counted the number of trees sprawled across the trails to be
pushing 200! What an opportunity for some invigorating and productive outdoor
volunteer work eh!? All though I wasn't able to capture a fair percentage of the
amazing amount of work put into the ongoing work of clearing the trails, I did
have my camera along one day shortly after new years when over 60 trees were
cleared from a short stretch of the Ravens Way loop. If you weren't out clearing
that day and feel left out, I'm sorry for your loss . . and your help is still
appreciated. Enjoy the pictures, and I hope it looks like fun!
