The Famous 4th of July Buttons, Seldovia Alaska- Since 1981 the 4th of July in Seldovia has had a button designed for the 4th. The first button was in 1981 and has been a Seldovia tradition ever since. In recent years the Seldovia Chamber of Commerce holds a button contest early in the year to prepare for the 4th of July. The winner of the button contest is given a cash award and two buttons! This page is dedicated to the years of Seldovia buttons and how very special they are.   In an attempt to have a picture of every year, the various years are being displayed.
