How to use the Municipal code index
This is the main index to the city ordinances, which are the laws enacted by the city. The entire Municipal Code is not yet online, but those that are have "live" or colored links. Code sections that are not yet online are in plain text. Clicking on the link for a specific section takes you to the main page for that Title, with secondary sections linked from that page.
Every ordinance page within this section of the site has, at top and bottom, a navigation bar that looks like this:

In the ordinance navigation bar, "previous" takes you to the preceding page in the municipal ordinances (note that this is not the last page you viewed; you must use the "back" button in your browser to back up to the last viewed page). The "city homepage" link takes you back to the home page of this website. The "top" link takes you to the top of the page you are currently viewing. The "code index" link returns you to this page with the list of Titles. The "next" link turns to the next page in the municipal ordinances.
Some municipal codes simply reference Kenai Peninsula Borough codes or State of Alaska statutes. There are links to take you out of the city website to the borough's and state's code pages in the navigation menu in the lefthand portion of this page. If you require further assistance with municipal codes, please contact the city office.
