| Homer is a beautiful 1/2 hour flight from Anchorage on ERA Aviation. During the summer these airlines offer 6-10 flights per day between Homer and Anchorage. |
| Numerous car rentals are available in Anchorage, as are motorhome rentals, (make your reservations early). Homer is a 5-6 hour drive (220 miles) of scenic beauty along the Seward and Sterling highways of the Kenai Peninsula. Wildlife is abundant, the scenery is breathtaking, and there are frequent scenic pullouts, rest areas and campgrounds. If you are driving we highly recommend the Alaska Milepost Magazine as your travel guide. Watch carefully for the moose! |
