We offer drop-off hunts or
livaboard hunts for black or Alaska brown bear -- goats -- deer and elk -- and for
several species of collectable sea ducks
The drop-off hunts afford your hunting party total privacy, but has the disadvantage of
you're not being able to move more than walking distance or small boat (skiff) distance
from where you are dropped off. This can be severely limiting to your hunt.
The livaboard hunts, on the other hand, allow you the huge advantage of mobility aboard our fully equipped and very sea-worthy 43 ft. boat, the Fishbuster. Our owner/captain has intimate knowledge of the areas and can cruise the shorelines to allow you to scope for that trophy you've been wanting. With our full electronic panel of GPS, Loran, radar, marine radios, SSB radio, CB radio, color depth sounders and humongous flood lights, he can even move to new locations at night to ensure you maximum daylight hunting time. On the livaboard hunts you also have the advantage of delicious, prepared meals, the safety of sleeping (and hanging your game) away from the bears, 110v AC power to recharge your video batteries, and the comfort of a dry bunk, a heated cabin, and a hot shower
Aboard the Fishbuster we limit our hunting parties to four hunters for the livaboard hunts and whatever size your party is for the drop-off hunts. Most hunts average 5 to 7 days including travel time aboard the boat.
