Woodland Wreaths

Embrace the treasures of the Alaskan wilderness with an elegant, tastefully-decorated Christmas wreath

"I started making wreaths nearly 20 years ago after coming to homestead in Homer, Alaska. I wanted to utilize the tops of the trees from my house logs, and an energetic Christmas industry was born.

Over the years of the evolution of my craftsmanship, I have tried to maintain the "feel" of the Alaskan woods that I so love. These wreaths are for those buyers who want subtle, tasteful, natural elegance. I use only the finest ribbon available -- mostly gold-rimmed, and wired to retain its shape -- in lush velvets, elegant satin and festive plaid."

"They make wonderful gifts that keep giving throughout the winter. Why not give one to yourself? Life is good" Claire O'Donnell
MIDNIGHT SUN: A burst of alder branches ushing forth from a center of lichen, moss, pussy willow, wildflowers and cones--a study in texture that lasts forever.

WILDFLOWER: Each is decorated with locally collected wildflowers, moss, berries, grasses and cones, laboriously and lovingly arranged on a base of freshly-cut Sitka spruce bows.
VICTORIAN: "Properly" arranged strawflowers are set off with wildflowers, wild berries, and spruce cones.
SEAWEED: The pulsating tides of Kachemak Bay deliver subtle tones and textures captured here in this unique wreath
