R/V Maritime Maid

This vessel was built in 1971 ,and remodeled and refurbished in 1985. She has fished in the Pacific to South America and the Atlantic to Africa. She has served as an oil rig tender in the North Pacific in December and January. Helicopter operations have been conducted in Alaskan waters from Ketchikan to Attu, St. Matthew Island and Nome. Customers include ARCO, NOAA, International Seafoods, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Scripps Oceanographic Institute.

Maritime Helicopters operates 6-passenger Bell Long Ranger , Bell 407, and 4-passenger Bell JetRanger helicopters. Our experienced pilots have an average of over 9,000 hours of flight time and many years experience in Alaska's unique flying conditions.
