The Lilypad B&B is located one block off Pioneer Ave., Homer's main street. We are close to Homer's popular museum and to Homer's downtown business district. We are a smoke-free B&B, but have a large covered balcony for smokers. We are like a mini-motel in that folks are down two hallways off the dining area, and you don't have to walk through someone else's living area to get to your room. Your rooms are up an outside flight of covered stairs for added privacy.
We don't allow pets but kids are welcome. We have seven bedrooms, and five baths. Our rooms have queen, king, or king-size twin beds, private or shared baths, and cable TV. A country breakfast is served in our kitchen/dining area. Rooms with private baths are $85.00, and rooms with shared baths are $75.00, double ocupancy. City and Borough tax is 5.5% of the total. All prices are based on cash or check. Credit cards are 3% more.
There are many things for families to do in Homer besides fishing, such as trail hikes, horse back riding, beach combing, live theater, bike rentals, and great tours of Kachemak Bay, to name a few. This year, we are proud to announce our own charter company, Reel Deal Charters, and will be offering two 36 ft. well equipped boats for your comfort and convenience. we will finally be able to offer packages for daily trips, and, on demand, we are putting together a two day, one night extravagansa for people who want to over-indulge in prime fishing, and fantastic scenery.
We are also, as an introductory offer, giving free bay tours once a week, to the lucky people who hit on the right days. We have lots of rooms available for next summer, but as reservations roll in, choices began to narrow a bit. So get your reservations in early to assure your first choices. We also have lots of friends in the business, and can book you with several reputable outfits if our set-up doesn't meet your needs.

If a client cancels seven days before reservation date, no penalty will be invoked. If cancellation comes within the seven day period, we will try to fill the reservation with an alternate party. If that fails, we will charge the client the full amount of the deposit. This is because we normally turn several people away after reservations are confirmed, and if a client changes his mind at the last minute, it costs us. In the event you charter a fishing trip with us, and the weather, or some unforseen problem causes us not to go, your money will be refunded in full on the charter.
