The HANDLE approach is a comprehensive, drug-free approach, using multiple disciplines to explore and treat neurodevelopmental issues. This approach treats the root causes of a problem rather than treating symptoms.
It is a systems-based approach, recognizing that nothing stands alone: all neurodevelopmental systems are inter-related, interconnected and interdependent. Irregularities in one area may resonate symptomatically in other areas.

Judith Bluestone is the founder of The HANDLE Institute of Seattle, WA. Established in 1994, the Institute is a non-profit, training and research facility.

Cathy Stingley established HANDLE services in Homer, Alaska in 1996. These include clinical services, community information, and professional training programs.
