Tammy attended Valparaiso University in Indiana and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and a minor in Production Management. She has been working in the accounting field for over eleven years. Prior to opening her own office in 1998, she worked for one of Alaska's largest local public accounting firm where she was a supervisor in the audit department. While she has worked with all types of clients in urban and rural Alaska, her expertise lays in servicing non-profit and governmental organizations. In addition to performing financial statement audits she has worked extensively in the area of write up; evaluating accounting programs, setting up chart of accounts, maintaining general ledgers, preparing payroll and accounts payable checks as well as preparing monthly reports for board members and quarterly tax reports. Tammy is also knowledgeable of various accounting software programs, which enables her to work more efficiently with her clients.

Tammy is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Alaska Society of Certified Public Accountants (ASCPA).
